In this study, the aim is to explain the perspective of Mugla artisans on electronic commerce by statistical methods. For the purpose of the study, questions were asked to artisans to recognnize their business, and survey questions with positive and negative statements about electronic commerce, also through face-to face method and open-ended questions, their perspective on electronic commerce were tried to be understood. Survey questions and face-to-face interview technique shows that under increasing competition conditions, artisans, mainly due to lack of infrastructure, stay in the background compared to large companies. Information about electronic commerve should be given to artisans in terms of providing competitive advantage and meeting the demands of consumers.
