The design and use of structures with a size of 1 to 100 nanometers to serve a high performance purpose is called nanotechnology. In addition to being used in the field of material science, nanotechnology, which brings innovations in many fields such as food, textile, pharmacy, medicine, physics, chemistry, biology, electronics, shows developments in many areas in the field of architecture. In the context of nanomaterials, the effect of nanotechnology continues rapidly in the emergence of robust, high quality, suitable and light structures in materials used outside and inside the space. Areas of use include self-cleaning properties of surfaces, thermal insulation materials, nanocomposite materials, materials that increase lighting, ventilation and air quality, concrete surfaces, fire protection, paint materials with lotus effect, coating application surfaces, photovoltaic panels, anti-reflective materials and It is used in sustainable structures in areas such as energy. It is seen that the usage area of nanotechnology is wide in the world.</p> ER -
