In the Ottoman period, the Balkans, which had many different ethnic and religious communities, lived in peace and tranquillity for a long time, but in the nineteenth century, it turned into geography where blood tears and mass exiles were experienced. Finally, with the end of the Cold War in the 1990s, Yugoslavia was fragmented as a result of ethnic, nationalism and civil wars, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is a part of this federation, experienced the same fate. The Bosnian war, which started in 1992, was ended with the Dayton Agreement in November 1995. While each state has the right to choose its own constitution, unfortunately, the Dayton agreement has created the constitution of Bosnia. The main reason for this study is how the Bosnian constitution was formed and the historical evolutions it went through, and finally, how it entered a period with the Dayton agreement is discussed.
